Title: What God Wants!
Pastor @ 2:13 pm

God does not want us to just praise him for his grace, but he wants us to become gracious.

God does not want us to just praise him for his mercy, but he wants us to become merciful.

God does not want us to just praise him for his patience, but he wants us to become patient.

God does not want us to just praise him for his holiness, but he wants us to become holy.

God does not want us to just praise him for his righteousness, but he wants us to become righteous.

God does not want us to just praise him for his love, but he wants us to become loving.

God does not want us to just praise him for his faithfulness, but he wants us to become faithful.

Just as finger that points to the moon is not the moon, the child of God that lives a Godly life is not God, however he/she is the finger that points to God. We can speak Godly all we want, but a life that points to God by its deeds is far more valuable than any words we can utter.

What have you become?

Title: A Good Day
Pastor @ 10:49 pm

We got up early this morning and traveled the 2.5 hours to the Eureka Church in Chula, GA which is pastored by the very able Bro. Jamey Tucker. We got to hear Brothers Mike Stewart and Issac Guess for the first time. These two brethren proved themselves to be able ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Brother Stewart reminded us that God can and does use the afflictions of your live to your own good. Brother Guess told us about the goodness of God in saving us by his own purpose and will. He reminded us that God is a God of purpose.

We were blessed to be a part of this meeting and look forward to more fellowship with this precious church. We were also blessed to fellowship with severa other preachers, including Brothers J.E. Griffis, Phillip Howell, and Chris Folsom.

We were also blessed to participate in a prayer service for a dear sister of the Eureka Church that has been diagnosed with cancer. I think that I, and the other ministers, recieved as much from this experience as the sister for which we were praying.

We are looking forward to services tomorrow morning. My God grant us the things we need.
